Well, seeing as Toby is relaxing with the whole board to himself, I figured I'd make a new post.

So I've worked on Drakensang Online for about 16 months now, And played for about 22 months.

These days, I don't get much time to get in game as often as I used to, I'm a college student, and a full time single mum to two hell raising young boys, who are obsessed with minecraft.

I'm studying.. wait for it.. administration, so I'm pretty qualified for the job role, I would say.

Not much else to say about me, I like MMORPGS (duh) I like dragons (duh), fairies, fantasy, werewolves (no it wasn't my idea for Varholm :p) I like the mysteries in life!

I'm from the UK, so you won't see me around much in US time. I try my best, and although some of you see me as "Head Nun" (a role at which I'd fail at btw *smirk* I hope you all enjoy the support that I offer.

Thanks guys! Go forth and conquer heroes (and heroines and anything inbetween) of duria!

:p too bad there isn't a "team leader" profile picture for the queen instead of the king (since you're a mom and not a dad!).

You evade if you get direct question. You don't listen to others. You are loyal servant of Bigpoint all the time. I don't think you are a good admin.

I think she listens to others just fine and does her best to answer questions that she has the power/ability to do so. The passion filled questions that you are most likely referring to can only be honestly answered by the developers themselves, and that's the issue.

dev's need to be available to answer everyones questions...
its easy enough to stall and move on to a different topic, than to give a straight forward answer...
plus callisto with all the rain and floods, its the best place for you here, warmer and drier :D

    always a pleasure

Yes, the Game Developer's Corner in the old forum was promising and then it just whittled away unfortunately.

Just because not everything is replied to, doesn't mean it isn't read and taken into account when passing on the feedback to the managers and developers.

    Hello, Callisto!
I'm new to the game and the community. I was wondering what I can do to help engage the community and create positive change in regards to the development of the game.

I see far more complaining than praise, and with a game as great as this one, it really upsets me to think that it is, indeed, dying. Especially when I've only taken a few baby steps in to the game.

I also have a few questions, and as a team member, I predict that we can see eye to eye. I do understand that there are questions that you may not be able to answer, but if you could answer in your honest opinion, I would very much appreciate it!

    1. In regards to features being implemented in to the game, do the developers take in to account community feedback?
    2. To further add to my first question, do the developers care about the community, or are they only in it for the good of themselves?
    3. I understand that there must be a return in their investment, such as payment with money, but is that the sole ambition?
I strongly believe that if your game is good enough, people will WANT to pay. So far, in my first encounters with the game, I have noticed that most essential features required to make a successful game are missing. One example in particular is the absence of a banking system. In addition, we are required to pay to add additional inventory slots. Now I am not complaining, but in my humble opinion, that seems like a perfect set-up for a money-earning scheme. That will conclude my mini-banter, and I apologize if I am asking the wrong person.

It is a pleasure to meet you, and I look forward to hearing your response!
