Is there a pve guild on Tegan?

I've been playing 80 some days now and get guild requests quite frequently, but the ones that I've been asked to join are all PVP guilds.

I get the fact that most players are into the pvp thing and that is fine, but it would be nice to find one that is interested in playing the levels and events.

My characters is a lvl 45 SW named Rhysingstar2

 

pve guilds are 45 lvl guilds on tegan, most mid and low lvl guilds are pvp guilds simply cuz of that many players trying to get high fame at low lvl. Try for lvl 45 guilds ,many pve guilds at 45 lvl.

 

I have a "free guild", as in you do what you want. I pvp myself and some others in guild do as well, however most others PVE. List your IGN and I'll pm you in game if you are interested. Many are not max levels like you so don't worry. This is also just a temporary guild (or sort of) since we changing name and friends coming over from other guilds sometime soon in the future.

when I search ujuj, it is a level 20 DK lol. Tell me if that is the wrong guy because you said you are a SW.

 

What I would like is a guild that is active in helping each other level up, help on quests, bosses, etc.

I've done some maps hundreds of times while trying to gain exp points to level up never seeing another player on that map.

Maybe I am simply playing the wrong hours of the day (although I play a lot) and just never run across any players who are trying to beat the levels.

I don't mind going back to the lower maps to help someone finish their quests (although I do chew up the xp points) as some maps were quite difficult to do solo.

If there is such a guild or ones that aren't constantly asking for pvp matches, my name on Tegan is Rhysingstar2


I am always willing to jump in and help anyone on a quest no matter what level they are whether I ever join or guild or not.

 

Meatwadd, Tegan Server. Some area maps will only allow you to see others when you are in a group, guild or otherwise . I was recently in a guild. I has some avantages when going into tough maps and tough bosses, for sure. However, due to bizarre behavior by some guild members I am solo again but looking for another, english , guild. As for as helping others, temporary groups are common in ResistanceCommandCenter or Atlantis.
Good way to make new contacts and get guild member perspectives for future members.

 

Oops! That is me but on a different server. The SW lvl 40 Ujuj is in Agathon. Should I change the other character?

I started this thread 3 months ago and I'm still looking for groups or guilds that take on the bosses. I've been playing this game for over 6 months now and have never seen anyone attempting to put together a group for Destructor. I've only seen someone once try (didn't happen) to put together a group for Mortis.

The vast majority of people seem to spend their time on pvp which is fine, but it's not what I do. They also tend to be at lower levels and want to stay at those lower levels. Again, that is fine, I don't tell others how they should enjoy playing the game. My goal since the beginning is to beat every map and boss in the game.

 

Amongst all the guilds I experienced so far, I would, imho recommend The Brave Idiots. I have been to a few PW farming parties with them. They have a some strong PVP characters but I have seen some actives doing PWs. Any TBI online that can comment on this ?

 

KitaGila is a strong PVE guild, it does have PVP members as well. BUT no pressure to do PVP. Our higher level members are now doing Mortis and Khalys runs very successfully and helping the rest of the guild through.

 

KitaGila is a guild that welcomes people of all playstyles. We have people that are low level and like to pvp, and we have high level people working on clearing bosses and events (We've recently started Mortis runs and Khalys runs, all while helping our lower level/geared members get sets from the red essence event) and helping lower level people all the time. We'd be glad to have you Rhys

 

What an interesting way to give Kita a plug.......

As it was the last guild that I was a member of, let me say that indeed there are some very strong players in the guild. There are also some very helpful members. Kita also has some of the funniest conversations that made me laugh until I had tears in my eyes.

With that said, if I were going to publicly plug a guild to someone that just recently left, I would take a few minutes to ask them why before doing so.

But that's just me....

 

Haha, that's rich. We always pay attention to the members, that's why the guild is constantly full. And we also had someone ask why you left, I know why you left, I didn't personally ask because at that point it would seem like spam. If there's another reason than "someone was pressuring me to pvp" or if you'd like to share with me who that someone was so we can give them a thump, I'm always free to talk with.

As I stated, KitaGila is all about letting people play how they like, and helping them achieve that. If they want to pvp, great we've got people they can do that with. If they want to pve all the maps, great we've got people doing that too. I've personally not pvp'd more than 6 matches in the past 6 months, and I've always been around to help people, they just have to ask, I've unfortunately not mastered the art of mind reading. That said, you'll always be welcome back in the guild Rhys, it was a pleasure having you around and I will be one of many to be sad to not have you in the guild anymore, but I'll still do things with you, just poke me when you see me on, as long as I'm not currently helping a guild member with something I'd be glad to come, guild members just get priority first.

 

We are getting off topic here... before it gets totally out of hand allow me to clear up any confusion...

I never said that there was any pressure to to pvp..

The nice explanation that I gave to the one person who asked why I chose to leave guild, is that I was tired of explaining why I don't pvp, or why I don't want to spend all my time gapping, or why I choose to pay for premium, or why I choose to pay for gems or whatever else I choose to pay for.


Now that others are choosing to bring kita into this thread let me share what broke the camels back...


It had nothing to do with the fact that I was spending 90% of my time doing maps solo.
It had nothing to do with the fact that no one was willing to help me with destructor or mortis.
It had nothing to do with the fact that most of the members spend their time doing pvp.

I have never once told anyone how to enjoy their time on this game....


My last day in the guild was spent doing hod solo while a few other members were whining about someone in pvp using buffs or ess or potions or whatever it was.

As I don't pvp and had nothing to contribute I simply went along my merry way.

Per usual when a conversation turns to pvp and what is and what should not be allowed to happen, someone brought up "cheating".

I try to stay out of these types of conversations as most of the time those complaining about cheating are the very ones who won't do a map without a gapper despite the rules on that particular matter....

However, during the course of that conversation my name got brought into it simply because I choose to pay to play this game.

Instead of getting into yet another worthless debate on the definition of the word cheating or explaining the benefits of having a job, I decided it was best to let those players keep their opinions and leave.


I did not complain to the guild master or any of the officers or members.
I did not complain here on the public forum.
I also did not bring Kita into this thread.
I simply left the guild and did what I normally do, solo maps.

I also did not bump this thread nor ask for it to be bumped.... however I did reply to the person who did so.


When asked, I have continued to join any group of players doing a quest or map whether they are part of a guild or not. That hasn't changed since I started playing this game in March..


Now hopefully this doesn't cause anyone to get their feelings hurt, but I also think it's time to close this thread.
