Seafight proudly presents a small but practical update for your guilds

Ahoy there mates,

Sometimes the smallest change can go a long way: That’s why we’re launching a “little“ update today for your guilds. Here’s just a taste of what’s to come:

- Number of guild members doubled
- New guild info
- Pull-down menu for guild tags
- Option for guilds to change guild names and tags
- No more taxes for guild treasuries with over 4.2 billion gold doubloons in them
- Automatic release of the guild tags 28 days after deletion

Seafight has never been so streamlined: A new market cove with a new design and location for the bazaar and pearls!

Starting today, there’s a brand-new market cove at Seafight to improve the game overview and game flow. In the future, you can actively auction and buy items: Purchase all of the items here which were previously shown in the bazaar. You can click right on your packs and pearls – it’s our contribution to a thorough spring cleaning and our endeavor to streamline Seafight!

Security tips for your account

Ahoy Pirates,

From time to time, it happens that accounts are stolen; with just a few simple precautions you can protect your password and account. Here are a couple of tips for you:

- Select a password that contains both numbers and letters, and is at least 8 characters long.
- Don’t choose passwords that are easy to guess such as your date of birth, name, etc.
- Change your password on a regular basis.
- Use different passwords at different service companies and providers.
- Install a virus scanner and let this regularly check your system regularly.
- Don’t click on every link you receive.

Remember: We’ll never directly ask you for your password; we don’t need it to be able to help you!

These are just a few tips and tricks – if you follow them, you’ll increase the security level of your Seafight account!

Patch notes March and April

In addition to the bonus maps, the birthday and the announced reworking of Seafight, we’ve spent a lot of time in March taking care of all the various errors and bugs in the game, whether big or small, which you’ve reported.

In addition, the game help for the Cauldron of Aruba was updated, 4 new languages and 2 new servers were added, an update for the purchase volume of items was made, and a number of other game updates were executed

We also worked intensely on the technical background of the bonus maps, on reworking the game, and everything else which goes along with it.

Of course, we don’t want to keep it to ourselves: There’s also a bunch of stuff in store for you in April.

In April, we intend to improve the usability and gameplay in Seafight by combining the bazaar and the pearls page into the new “Market Cove”. In addition, we’ve planned some new functions for various items.

Forget the grog - this extra-special celebration calls for barrels and barrels of rum! We're celebrating 1,111 days of Seafight: That's 1,111 days of exciting battles at sea, adventurous treasure hunts and treacherous pirate missions!

Hear ye, hear ye! A toast for this special day in the best, swashbucklin’ pirate tradition: Just for you we're tapping an entire barrel of mojo!

The winner of the big Seafight Regatta will make a killing in mojo! In this sporting event, you’ll have to use all your sailing skills to put all those wannabe pirates back in their place. Don’t be a swab – only the fastest pirates will sail away with the booty!

You’ve spent the last 3 years with us boarding, plundering and sinking ships on the high seas of Seafight, and now it’s time for us to set anchor and let the rum flow. Those who lay waste to their opponents need to also lay back once in awhile and tap those kegs! Patch Notes for February

Patch Notes for February

In addition to having bonus maps at Seafight for the month of February, we’re also taking the time to solve some bugs and problems in the game which you reported to us. With this in mind, we plan to address these errors and bugs first and at the moment have no further updates planned for February.

The following errors were fixed in January:
- Several translation errors were fixed.
- Several text errors were corrected.
- You no longer loose speed points if you buy any kind of boat. This was an important update that will ensure that the game operates smoothly for you while playing.
- The Jackpot Battle ranking for December was fixed.

Intensive work was also done at Seafight to improve technology and upgrade the bonus maps.

In the weeks to come, I will keep you updated about errors which have been fixed.

Long Winter Continues

Ahoy Pirates,

Outside it is still super cold, the heating in the cabins is on full blast. The Spring time also remains missing, many of you asked whether the snowball action could be extended, so that those could be used on the BonusMaps.

We have now decided that the Snowballs will continue throughout February double Elite Points shall be received. So that you may use all Snowballs bought for the BonusMaps.

The Snowballs shall still be removed from the Bazaar tonight as planned.

I hope that this does enlighten your spirit, and wish you lots of fun.
