Greetings Mech Pilots,

Unfortunately we encountered technical problems last weekend during the Jackpot tournament on the new Venus world, and that’s why we’re going to repeat the Jackpot tournament there for you!

Here’s the new date:
On: Sunday Nov. 1, 2009
At: 8:00am to 11:00pm (CET)

Freaky frights and fun at XBlaster: Welcome to the All Hallow’s Eve Special!

Hi Mech-Piloten,

Blast off to the pumpkin patch massacre on 31. October 2009! Get ready for scary surprises and unexpected twists and turns tomorrow: Whatever doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger. You’re gonna need guts and glory to make it through this grim and gory festival of frights!

•You’ll find spooky jack-o’-lanterns in all the leagues: Smash them to pieces and collect skill points!

From 4pm to 10pm CET a special tournament will take place: Every competitor will compete with the same mech which is equipped with only one destructive weapon: a missile. Every successful hit will result in a deadly blow for your opponent. You have 10 attempts to destroy as many opponents as possible. The winners will receive:

•1st to 3rd place: 100,000 skill points each
•5th, 10th and 100th place: 50,000 skill points each

Let the game of horror begin: Have a Happy Halloween and smashing good time at the pumpkin hunt!

The Venus world rocked the house and was full of action! Unfortunately this was only for a limited period of time. That is why we are opening new worlds that will work like the Venus world. But both are here to stay so you can enjoy permanent action and gaming fun. That is why we built those worlds on American servers. Due to this fact both worlds Venus-US (West) 1 & Neptune-US (East), will have an excellent performance and connection for you!

Here an example of some new features:

- Four Mechs per map, for more action and fun!
- Your enemies always ran from you? Not anymore!
- Improved balancing which guarantees the same chances for everyone!

XBlaster: Big Tower Promotion

Attack! Get going to the tower battle!

From now until January 24, 2009 you should turn your efforts to attacking towers. For every victory against a tower, you’ll receive some major skill points to upgrade your mech.

But that’s not all: If you defeat 10 towers in one day, you’ll receive an additional 5,000 skill points as a bonus at the end of the day.

To see how many towers you’ve already defeated, you can check your profile at any time.

The player who defeats the most towers during this special promotion will receive a hefty 250,000 skill points.

Use this chance and break the high score!

XBlaster: Large Update

We’re beginning the new year with a large update at XBlaster!

We’ve started the new year with a bang at XBlaster: We’ve just put a large update online for you.

What have we improved?

1. When entering the new arena, the first shot sometimes didn’t have any effect; we have corrected this problem.
2. After beaming, the position of your mech was occasionally somewhat displaced and the power bar wasn’t visible – we fixed that too.
3. Sometimes after using the impulse weapon the position of the power bar jumped; we also corrected this error for you.
4. The premature beaming of mechs to transport into the arena was corrected.
5. Starting now you can rely on the impulse weapon to hit precisely.

We hope that by fixing these errors you’ll have even more fun with our game, and we wish you all a happy New Year with many exciting fights in the arena.

New tournament mode in XBlaster

New tournament mode in XBlaster

Starting on June 29, 2008 we will be presenting a new monthly tournament at XBlaster which will replace the old mode.

To win your Jackpot, you need to destroy the most red barrels. You have three chances for this which you can start at any time during the tournament. The maximum duration per try is 120 minutes. After these 120 minutes, you leave the arena automatically.

Tip: To increase your chances of winning, register in both worlds for the monthly tournament! Your end rank will be the best try in all worlds.

To offer you and your friends

To offer you and your friends the chance to rule the arena of the future together, you can set a co-player password and give it to two other players.

They can then log in with your name and the co-player password (only over Xblaster.com) and you can play together on your account.

For the sake of security, co-players who use a co-player password have the following limitations:

* no possibility to recycle
* no possibility to change profile images or texts
* no possibility to change names or passwords
* no access to the account protocol
