Increased protection, higher hit points for all and no more long waiting lines at the stations!

Say good-bye to long waiting lines at the sub-aquatic stations and get ready for a major change at Deepolis with the introduction of a big, new update which will bring you a new hit point system, offer you more protection with shields and reward everybody with even more hit points!

Starting immediately, your hit points won’t only be divided among your sub’s basic value and its hull, but will also include your shields. Before opponents can attack your sub’s hit points at all, they’ll have to fight their way through the sub’s shield points (SPs).

And the best part of all is that the sub’s SPs don’t just regenerate themselves at the station, but on the entire map!

Further information about this can be found in the forum.

Take the helm, Admirals – and have a blast!

New ocean territory with exclusive events and action-packed fights: Experience exciting PvP battles in the new battle zone

Ahoy Admirals,

Red alert, all hands on deck! A seaquake of enormous magnitude has hit causing a path of destruction along the ocean. A portion of the death zone has been swallowed whole by the ocean floor and made way for a new zone, which we’ve bestowed with the name the “Battle zone”. Brave adventurers and other courageous souls can compete in PvP battles here and rake in a big reward for defeating enemy admirals.

It’s easy to find the battle zone: Either sail there yourself or have yourself beamed there from certain stations. All three confederations have their own battle station for you to trade items and repair your sub there.

The battle zone isn’t just the setting for exciting and thrilling underwater battles, but it’s also the place where exclusive events take place every now and then! So remember to sail by and take a look every once in awhile: It’ll definitely pay off!

Have a blast!

Deepolis: the perfect entry-level subs for all captains – Warmaran SX, Leviathan SX or Diabolo SX

Ahoy Admirals,

Express delivery from the top secret labs deep below the surface of the ocean: The new elite subs are here! The Warmaran SX, Leviathan SX and Diabolo SX are the “slimmed-down” versions of the “large” elite subs. Just like their big brothers, these new subs are equipped with elite features such as high-tech equipment and can really make a huge “impact”. This low-priced, entry-level model is perfect for every admiral and can be upgraded to a “large“ elite sub at any time without losing an value.

All new subs can be bought for the rock-bottom price of 25,000 Helix! And the best thing of all is that the purchase price for the Warmaran SX, Leviathan SX or Diabolo SX will be applied completely to the price you pay for the full-version elite subs: Warmaran, Leviathan and Diabolo.

Test the waters and become an elite captain: Act now and get an elite sub for a bargain-basement price without delay. It’s a win-win situation, how could you go wrong? You get a low price, great performance & there’s absolutely no risk!

Have a blast!

Don’t get discouraged: Use the protective seal and save yourself from stronger opponents!

Ahoy Admirals,

The confederations at Deepolis have been warring for centuries. Justice or compassion for the enemy have no place in this ongoing struggle: Every opponent is destroyed without a second thought, even if they are obviously weaker and nearly defenseless compared to their attacker.

It hasn’t always been this way. The big confederations weren’t always at each others throats. There were times in the past where peace treaties allowed for and promoted free trade between the different confederations.

As a sign of such a treaty, special protective seals were created and provided to allied admirals who wore them as a signal for all other ships in the area: This ship is not to be attacked.

A few of these protective seals are still in circulation. Are some of you continually under attack? If so, you should have a look around and see if you can’t dig up one of these valuable seals. The merchant is sure to have a few left. Whoever is the bearer of such a seal automatically has attack protection.

You’ll find more information about the protective seal in the forum.

Good luck!

Help is on the way, young admirals: Locate neo capsules now and hit it big!

Ahoy Admirals,

Nobody ever said that things at Deepolis would be easy: It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there, and fighting is the name of the game. That’s why we’re rewarding all those young souls up to and including level 15 who brave the dangers of the shadowy deep and giving them a light at the end of their tunnel: the flotsam detector!

The detector can be used to locate flotsam which players above level 15 will never have the chance of discovering: It will bestow players with valuable treasures to make survival against powerful opponents as easy as stealing candy from a baby. The neo capsules contain useful items for each and every new admiral to use, helping them to look danger straight in the face and never back down.

As usual, more information about this can be found in the forum under “Official announcements”.

New and improved game performance with individually adjustable settings for the map

Ahoy Admirals,

We’ve made a few changes on board this vessel to streamline the underwater map at Deepolis and added a bunch of new settings to the game. Starting immediately you’ll be able to set the client (underwater map) to fit your needs. These new settings will enable you to influence and improve the game’s performance by simply switching on and off certain elements!

What type of game settings are there?

There are two types of settings which can be switched on or off at any time. The first type includes client settings which are shown at the front of the underwater map:

Display:

- Chat
- Sub status
- User list
- Sonar
- Navigation

The second type of settings includes those elements in the client which influence the game’s performance:

Performance:

- Details in the water
- Details on the ocean floor
- Details in the animation
- Raw materials

You can adjust the game to fit the performance of your computer by activating or deactivating these client elements and thereby automatically control the flow of the game yourself.

Dive in and have a good time at Deepolis – and don’t forget to give us your feedback!
